Duane Shuttleworth
Duane R. Shuttleworth, Metis/Ojibway/Dakota, is a professional individual with several years of experience in event planning and coordination. His background in human resource management and community development has afforded him many opportunities to work with the public and private sectors, in both the Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal community. Mr. Shuttleworth's experience in fundraising with varied levels of government and corporations has benefited many local and national community groups. Duane has extensive experience in training, specifically with Cross Cultural and Aboriginal Awareness. He is a Traditional person, gifted with the items sacred to his community and he carries many Traditional Teachings of the Medicine Wheel.
Dr. Alex Wilson
Alex Wilson, Opaskwayak Cree Nation, conducts research and training on social justice issues. Her professional interests focus on developing and implementing Indigenous curricula, research and teaching methodologies. As a partner in Blue Sky Planners & Consultants, Inc. she has conducted large and small-scale needs assessments and evaluations and has developed training and health policy based on those assessments for a variety of organizations.
